Hi La Cumbre Community,

And the heat goes on.......As classrooms become overheated, we are moving them to cooler locations on campus. The district has also purchased fans, that we hope will arrive soon. PE activities have been limited, and students are encouraged to drink lots of water. Our water refilling station in the main hallway that dispenses free cold water has been very busy

In spite of the heat, students are working hard and staying focused. On Saturday, Core Knowledge held its annual Carpe Diem at sunrise at the beach. Many thanks to the Boathouse and Park Rangers for their support. Attached are some pics from the event.
